‘ DFWMostPowerful.com’
is a fun new window into the rich and famous of the Dallas/Fort
Worth area of North Texas!Of course, former President George W. Bush is
#1. But from
there it's up for grabs!
DFWMostPowerful.com has spent almost two years and thousands of
hours researching the key factors that make a person powerful:
Wealth: net worth, economic power, residential real estate
Business or Position Power: Elected Officials are rated by position.
An example would be: a Senator is considered more powerful than a
congressman, and a U.S. Senator more than a state senator.
Celebrity Power: Who is known locally or nationally; by everyone or
just by other Powerful people
Charitable Contributions and Involvement Power: Money plus
additional points for serving on Boards or as Trustees
Political Power: through contributions to local, state, and national
elections. We then weight these scores for each person and refine the list to
the ones you see on the site. It is the opinion of one group, but
based on a significant amount of research and data, formulated to
present a representative cross-section of power in the Dallas/Fort
Worth metroplex.

Add any new
lists or names acquired into database and repeat
- Score each household on Power Components:

Power Components
- Compute Political, Charity, Celebrity, and Professional ‘scores’
- Compute “Total Power” score of 4 Power Components
- Compute “Most Powerful” List
In Development
- 5th Power Component: Society/Social
to measure level of Social
Participation
- Divide current Charity Component into Charity & Society
- Rank major society events (Crystal Charity, Art Ball, Cattle
Barons, etc.) assign sliding value based on longevity, total $$$
raised
- Score each household on Society
- Adjust Proprietary Formula for 5th Component
- Recompute ‘Most Powerful’ and and all subsidiary Lists
NOTE:
'Social' is actually a sub-set
of the current Charity Component already in our original algorithm. But
it measures who leads and contributes to the Top 20 non profits and social
events
(see our
Most Powerful Events list).
